Tip of the week.

The next 4 fishing Tips we will be talking about the Moon phases.

As the moon revolves around Earth, it appears to change shape. This optical illusion is caused by the different angles from which we see the part of the moon's surface that is illuminated by the sun. The moon pases though 4 phases during a cycle that repeats itself every 29.5 days. The phases always follow 1 another in the same order.

First quarter:
We're seeing the moon from the "side." The right side is illuminated, and the left side is dark. During the time between the new moon and the first quarter, the part of the moon that appears lighted gets larger every day, and continues to increase until the full moon. A first quarter moon causes a neap time.
